FAQ

What should I wear?

We believe people should be comfortable in church. Here, you’ll see everything from business casual to jeans to shorts and sandals in the summer. The most important thing is that you come as you are.

Is Communion offered at NewLife?

Yes. The sacrament of Holy Communion is offered at both of our worship services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month. Our 5th Sundays are Family Worship days and also include Holy Communion. If you’d like to learn more about our beliefs surrounding Holy Communion, or have questions, please contact the Church Office.

What does it mean to be a member at NewLife?

It’s important to us at NewLife that you belong before you believe. Our desire is for everyone to experience full life in Christ, which is a lifelong process. To find out more about our unique community and what it means to become a member, we’d invite you to attend our next What We Believe class. Contact the Church Office for additional details.

Does NewLife have a church affiliation?

Yes. We are affiliated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) headquartered in St. Louis, and operate as an independent church among other member churches in the Genesee County area. We are connected to our church’s national headquarters through our District Office located in Ann Arbor. For more information on the LCMS, go to www.lcms.org.
