FAQ

What can I expect returning to church in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic?

The health & safety of our church family and guests has been a top priority over the last several months. As Michigan’s pandemic orders have changed, we also have made adjustments accordingly. At this time, masks are optional at both worship services and we honor that personal choice. Sanitation continues to be a regular practice with common areas regularly disinfected and sanitizer stations are available throughout the church.

Aside from our Worship Center, overflow seating is available in our Cafe with projection and sound capabilities.

In addition, we will continue to provide online worship services available on our website every Sunday for those more comfortable worshipping at home.

What should I wear?

We believe people should be comfortable in church. Here, you’ll see everything from business casual to jeans to shorts and sandals in the summer. The most important thing is that you come as you are.

Is Communion offered at NewLife?

Yes. The sacrament of Holy Communion is offered at both of our worship services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. If you’d like to learn more about our beliefs surrounding Holy Communion, or have questions, please contact the Church Office.

What does it mean to be a member at NewLife?

We exist to help people become devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Members do this by committing to growing in understanding of God’s great love for them. This is a lifelong process and happens through regular worship, Bible study and relationships with one another through various church activities and events.

How do I get involved?

We believe we all people are called to serve just as Christ came as a servant to all. You probably have one or more spiritual gifts that God has given you to serve in various capacities. For more information on opportunities to get involved, please contact us.
