As a congregation, we have a timely opportunity to redefine what it means to serve others. The needs are great in Flint’s east side. Greater still are the lives at stake. The people who live in Flint’s east side are also part of this process. How can we help them? Our ministry presence is important to help them meet their basic needs. Imagine this neighborhood, now in ruin, with access to physical and spiritual building blocks to revitalize and sustain it…where meals are served to the needy…where Christian tutors and counselors transform lives…where hope is realized. We are all called by Christ to serve. Prayerfully consider your response.
